REPORT - The day was excellent, blessed with excellent weather and the grounds were green due to rain the previous week (no dust). Being new to all this, it was a great learning day. Numbers were down over both competitions due to lack of support and nearing end of school term, with people getting prepared to travel to state titles in Ingham. However, the majority of unofficial riders were new to this competition and it's great to see them have a go. A big thanks to Mrs Barb Forster who stepped in at the very last minute to be the Showjumping judge. We need to cultivate more judges in these areas, as are few and far between in the Central Highlands region. An incident free day as well. For next year we will amend our unofficial program to keep up and coming riders interested, Thanks also to all the parents, helpers, canteen workers, pencillers, course builders and judges who helped out in any way on the day, it was very much appreciated. Your input helped the day run smoothly and efficiently.
